This was possibly the most perfect summer day spent lazing under our beach tent, sipping chilled water, savouring wedges of sweet navel oranges and napping in the gentle sea breeze. Byron and I took turns to play with Love as the other surfed the small swell on the longboard. Afternoon rain clouds slowly approached from the sea horizon as Love dozed in my arms. By early evening we had packed up and watched the light rain fall from the shelter of our front deck.
