I was fortunate enough to be able to take some photographs of her, which provided much laughter for our Sunday afternoon.
It's always fun to hang out with a girlfriend and I felt especially grateful that Nic popped over to spend time with me. Not only is she a busy Mum, a hard-working career girl and lives far away but she's also one tough cookie, having battled an enduring life-changing illness the past year and recently beat cancer. She's an inspiration to me and I love her enthusiasm for life. I am inspired by my courageous, beautiful and hilarious lifelong friend, she has taught me the importance of patience and inner confidence.
I admire your strength and beauty, Nic. My life is all the more blessed to be your friend.
